Teen Beginner Sewing Class

Service Description

This class is for ages 13 through 17 and the curriculum and projects are planned with teens in mind. Our three-week course to learn all of the basics, includes all tools, machines, materials, safety precautions and instruction to learn thorough use of the sewing machine and tips and trips for basic sewing projects. This is the first step to being able to refashioning your clothes or your cool thrifting finds! There are many skills to learn that build upon each other. Students will learn to thread, wind a bobbin and operate the sewing machine, They will learn terminology, how to lay out, pin and cut a pattern and a few new sewing skills each week. The studio is a fun and creative environment and we will create a teen friendly projects that fit their sewing level.
