Do I need a sewing machine to join class?

Not at all! We supply sewing machines and all of the necessary tools to take class.. even the fabric! We can however, help you purchase a sewing machine if you are interested!​

What age groups are eligible for children's sewing classes? We offer classes for children ages 5-8 years,

8.5 -11 years, and teens ages 12-17 years.

Sewing takes patience, fine motor skills, and the ability to follow multi step directions that comes with brain development. Our teachers have found that age 9 is an ideal age to begin with our beginner class.

Can homeschoolers enroll in sewing programs? Absolutely! Our sewing programs are perfect for homeschoolers and can be funded through charter schools. We provide a creative and supportive environment for learning.

Do you offer sewing workshops for adults? We offer a variety of sewing workshops for adults, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Our workshops are a great way to learn new skills and meet fellow sewing enthusiasts.

Do you provide tutorials for sewing projects? Yes, we offer detailed tutorials for various sewing projects. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewer, our tutorials will guide you through each step.

What if I have never used a needle and thread? Not a problem! I will introduce the use of both hand sewing and machine sewing in an age appropriate way, based on the class. I keep classes small so that I can work with the students at their levels.​
