Discover creativity at Sew Fun's Summer Sewing Camp! Designed for kids aged 8.5 and up, this 3-day camp welcomes beginners and seasoned sewists to master the sewing machine through fun projects. Our experienced team will guide participants in understanding machine parts, safety precautions, and essential techniques, ensuring a hands-on, enjoyable learning experience that cultivates a lifelong passion for sewing. Join us for a summer of creativity and fun! Our studio includes machines, cutting tables, tools and all of fabric for each project. We only suggest that you bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. A canvas messenger bag, a durable notebook cover, a vinyl zipper pouch, a scrappy banner, candy bag key chains are just a few of the choices that the students may have. Time will not alot for us to make all of these, however, and the instuctor will have the curriculum chosen for a particular class in advance. Classes, taught by a credentialed elementary school teacher that loves kids and sewing, include a snack midway through.
