Many of us have never learned the lost art of sewing. Either that or we haven't tried it since our Jr high days, when home ec. was offered 'back in the day'. Come to our studio in downtown Fullerton to learn from a credentialed teacher who provides a fresh cookie with each class. I also provide you the all of the tools, fabric, machines and skills to learn to sew. This class will cover how to operate a sewing machine, including threading the machine, winding the bobbin and understanding stitch settings. We introduce essential sewing techniques, such as stitches and using different types of presser feet. Students learn about fabric types, patterns, and tools emphasizing the importance of accurate measurements and cutting. You will work on projects each week to practice your newly learned sewing skills. Instructors provide helpful tips on troubleshooting common sewing problems, maintaining the sewing machine, and choosing appropriate fabrics for various projects.
