Service Description
In this FOUR WEEK session, kids 8.5-15 will learn how to work a sewing machine, how to choose fabric, the safety precautions necessary and all of the tools used in our sewing studio. We teach how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, how to sew a straight line and MUCH more. Everything including the machine is provided. This class is taught by an elementary teacher who has a passion for both kids and sewing. Small class sizes of 8 students and projects that we know they'll love.. Your kids will love it! Please note: since we have such a variety of ages, this class may have kids working on different individual projects. Additionally, if they are sewing the same project, we provide ways to add more advanced techniques to stretch the skills of our repeating students. NOTE that this class skips Thanksgiving week. The fourth class is held on Dec. 4th. Sorry, no make ups.
