Beginning Kids Sewing

Service Description

This class is for ages 8.5-14. This three-week class is a perfect introduction to sewing. We supply materials, machines, notions and instruction to create a project per week. Students will learn to thread and use the sewing machine, They will learn terminology, how to lay out, pin and cut a pattern and a few new sewing skills each week. The studio is a fun and creative environment and we will create a reversible tote bag, and more! The teacher will assess the skill level of the group and tailor the class to their abilities. The class is taught by a credentialed school teacher that loves kids, and we often provide a cookie break half way through.
